This is a vintage whiskey bottle which has been overlaid with sterling silver designs. The piece has been stamped sterling on the bottom and features two large shou symbols in the middle surrounded by bats, clouds and other auspicious symbols. The bottle is made of dark brown/amber glass and has “Ainsley’s” imprinted on it. The top spout is removable and has a new cork in the bottom. This is an antique ceramic vessel of a Chinese mythical creature, probably a Taotie or a Qilin, dating to the Ming Dynasty. The piece is glazed in dark green and done in a Khendi style. Description: This is a very unusual antique Tibetan Chuba made from Chinese tribute cloth. The tribute cloth was often bestowed to temples or monasteries for special consideration such as allegiances. The cloth would have been made in China during the late Qing Dynasty and sent to the temple or monastery uncut. From there it would often be made into a priest’s robe. Description: This is an unusual antique Chinese sleeve panel. The panel is made from a gold colored silk satin and features a motif of scholars implements embroidered in Peking stitch and couched metallic threads. The embroidery is also embellished with natural coral beads. The stitching and beadwork are extremely fine. The panel dates to the late Qing, circa mid to late 19th century.

Description: A very nice and unusual roundel made from a kossu woven dragon robe. The pieces were originally from the shoulder area of a circa 1890’s Chinese court robe or chi-fu. They have been joined together where the sleeve extenders would have been attached and trimmed with edging made from the lower wave register of the same robe. The details have been painted in.
