An antique European ivory carving of a tiger and snake. This piece is mounted on a wooden base and was fashioned after a famous bronze by Bayre. This item dates to circa 1900-1920. The whole item is original ivory carving without any restoration other than some old filling along the cracks (please view photographs). A nice display piece.
