| This circa 1900 dazzler is a beauty! It has a total of 3.50 carats of European-cut diamonds set in white gold atop an 18K yellow gold mounting. I've included lots of photos, but only a video could capture the continual flashing of colored sparkles that these old diamonds throw off with just the slightest movement. It's a real eye-catcher. The setting has a low profile and hugs the finger, so it's very comfortable to wear. All the large diamonds are set in bezels with decorative crimped edges. The present ring size is approximately a 5 1/2. One of the large diamonds has a small chip to a facet corner which can't be seen with the naked eye. If you look closely, the diamond at the very top in the photo above is slightly larger than the one at the opposite end, but it's original to the ring. Much finely detailed work went into the making of this spectacular, one-of-a-kind ring. | ||
