A Very Rare/Fine/Large Three Color Ming Dynasty’s Standing Figure Roof Tile:
China, Ming dynasty, 15th -16th century.
This is a very rare and fine roof tile of a standing warior(?) form with the left hand holding fruit(?) or medicine bottle(?), and the other hand holding a sword(?) glazed with the three color(Sancai), green, brown and back, unglazed on the bottom with a hole for a support pole.
This is a very fine condition without any major damages.
It measures 42cn or 16.75”
