A Very Fine Gold Maki-e Wood Black Lacquer Tray: Japan, late Meiji Period, early 20th Century, with a presentation box It is a very fine rectangular form tray gold lacquer painted with 2 birds perching on a blossoming camellia tree, small floral plants and bamboos on the black lacquered interior tray in gold and other red lacquer color, Nashiji decorated on the bottom. It’s in excellent condition but a tiny gold lacquer off on the top edage. It measures 19” x 13” x 2.25” (48.2cm x 33cm x 5.7cm)

It’s in very fine condition without any damages at all, and measures 41cm x 31cm x 23cm h.
