A Very Fine High Relief Bronze Hand Warmer:
Japan, early 19th Century, Signed "Sei-?"
This is a quite heavy and very finely and delicately high relief molded with some cranes
playing in pond and on the other side, a couple of birds seeing each other
in flying near big floral trees. Its lid has open work with a couple of phoenix
playing on trees in a mountain, it is monted with a C-shape bronze handle. It is signed on the bottom, but a second character is not clear.

This opened fan-shape water dropper is a very rare piece made for Imperial use in general.
It is in pure silver and gold high relief with a huge, old plum tree, blossoms, and 4 cranes flying
and enjoying around plum tree. It's a hallmark (pure silver) on the reverse
