This is an unusual large hard wood carved carp-shape crosspiece for a pothook adjuster.
This carp crosspiece was part of a device for suspension of a kettle or cook pot over a fire in a Japanese home. It is now worn itself and the surface has a black wax for conservation itself,
and it strings hemp rope and iron hook. This carp was carved so realistic and good preserved.

It’s very fine and rare full set of tea pot with a form of lotus bud and lotus leaf with a frog on the leaf
and water pot in an iron chamber, they can be separated each other from the iron chamber,
the iron water pot molded description on each sides with a maker or an artist name on the chamber. It’s in very fine condition without any damages at all.
