A Very Fine Bronze Mirror:
Korea, Koryo dynasty, 12th-14th century
The design is a fine cast in high relief on the obverse of this Mirror depicts
a ship sailing on a stormy sea.
A large dragon arises from the upper left and right with clouds of spray cap the surging
waves. At the top, above the ship’s banner, are four character inscriptions in archaic

A Fine and Large Bronze Mirror:
Korea, Koryo dynasty, 13th -14thcentury
This is a rare and large round bronze mirror, cast in the center with a pierced knob
encircled by flower petals, well molded with a pair of sinuous dragons,
each pursuing a flaming pearl through clouds around the central floret.
It is in perfect condition with green and dark brown patina.
It measures: 8 7/8 “d.

A Rare and Fine Bronze Mirror:
Korean, Koryo Dynasty, 12th-13th Century
This is an unusual small round bronze mirror, cast in the center with a pierced knob
encircled by wide flat ring, well molded with a pair of swimming fishes in waves,
each pursuing a catching fish through water waves around the central knob.
It is in good condition with a natural dark green patina over all surface.
It measures 4 1/8” (10.5 cm) in diameter

A fine White Brass Candleholder;
Choson Dynasty, 19th Century
This white brass candle stick is of a slender elegant and simple design
which is one of characteristic beauties of Korean art.
It is an assemblage of simple geometric forms ---circles, squares and lines---
which are exquisitely balanced one to another. The drip basin with its supporting post
is connected to an upper post by a panel with a reversed swastika cut into its open work.

A Fine Brass Tri-pod Incense Burner with cover;
Korean Choson Dynasty, 19th Century
This yellow brass incense burner is wisely used for religious ceremonial events.
It is set on a tri-leg feet, and a domed cover decorated with Buddhist eight open trigrams
(auspicious open designs) with eight faceted and dotted top and two open handles.
It has a good old aged patina all around the body (in and out sides).
It is in very good condition. Measures 7” high and 5 1/2” diameter
