This round box ilaid on the interior and esterio with mother of pearl details with two
dragons pursuing pearl in clouds in round key-fretwork which is repeated on the interior bottom,
the exterior is inlaid in mother of pearl details with 8 auspicious characters and diamond patern
designs repeatly between two key-fret around exterior over black lacqer on its out side.

A Rare Celadon Kundika Bottle:
Korea, Koryo period, 12th - 13th century,
The high rounded shoulders at one end with a
short waisted spout, the tall neck flaring to a stepped disc surmounted by
a thin faceted sprinkling spout with lipped rim with clear crackled grayish green celadon glazed, the base is on a slight firing crack, and a collector’s label attached. It has some body sides oxidized, otherwise no cracks, no chips, no repairs, no damages at all.
Measures: 10” high.
