| An Extremely Rare and Finely Inlaid Celadon Arrow Vase: Korea, Koryo period, 12th Century, This formed vase was adopted a Chinese archaic bronze vessel from Spring and Autumn period (770-476 BC), which is a Koryo celadon inlaid vase with two long ears (tubular necks) (broken) on the upper body, well potted pear-shaped body rests on a short ring foot, inlaid in white and black slip with five chrysanthemum medallions among clouds and flying cranes. It is covered overall by a glossy, crackled bubble suffused sea-green celadon glaze. The unglazed foot rim burnt brown in the firing with traces,. Some part of mouth and ears broken off, otherwise it is in fine condition. It measures 10 3/4” x 6”d. | ||
