| A Very Finely Inlaid/Fine Green Celadon Glazed Shallow Bowl: Korea, Koryo dynasty, 13th century This is a very well and unusual decorated shallow bowl is set on short ring foot decorated in inlaid black and white slip with a central medallion three pomegranate, surrounded by a band of flower petal design and a scrolling design of flowering lotus and unusual 4 phoenix contained within a meandering tendril border, the exterior with five roundels, beneath an overall finely crackled an bubble-suffused grey-green celadon glaze, with kiln encrustations to the base. It’s in very fine condition without any noticeable damage. Measurements;19.8cm d. x 6.5cm d. (7 7/8” x 2 5/8”). | ||
