A Very Rare/Fine Blue/White Porcelain Covered Jarlet
A Very Rare/Fine Blue/White Porcelain Covered Jarlet: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century Of well proportioned globular form resting on a ring footed and ring foot enclosing a recessed base and rising to an upright, circular neck, painted in underglaze blue with two symbols of treasury (auspicious emblems) and floral sprays between them, with a double ring and lapper band under the neck and around the flat cover with a cylindrical knob. It is in very fine condition without any damages with a very fine under glaze cobolt-blue. Measurements: 10cm h x 11.5cm d. (4” x 4 1/2”).
