A Fine/Rare Seated Polychome Pigments Painted Wood Dong-Ja Figure: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century Well carved and painted in white powder, orange, blue and black on solid wood, a depicting a seated boy on the pedestal in blue robes with red trim, holding orage fruit, peach. It’s in very fine condition without any chips but ordinally cracks with this age. Measurements: 14” H.x 9 1/4” W. 8 1/2” D. (35.5cm x 23/5cm x 21cm) ***Provenance; Collection of Mrs Lea Snyher in New York (wife of Mr Snyder who was an US Embassador to Korea).
