Very Fine/Rare Transluscent Amber Carved with a Immortal Figure: China, Qing dynasty This quite large clear/transluscent red amber carved depicting Shou Lao with his bald head and long hair across to the feet, holding his staff with a double gourd and a small white stone or ivory (?) around ball inserted in the stick head in right hand and auspicious peach in left hand. It’s in excellent condition with minor wear.(#5 and #6 photos taken by lighting) It measures 8.6cm tall. x 8.3cm wide. x 6.8cm deep (9cm h.) approximately.
