| A Chinese Very Fine/Large Polychrome Enameled Buddai Figure (Happy Man)-19th C.: China, late Qing dynasty,or early 1900s, the artist marked on base. A seated Happy man with a big smile painted with hundreds and thousands dotted patern and large flower heads on the yellow ground enameled long flowing robe opened to reveal his corpulent chest and belly shows naturalistically as the happist man in the world, his right hand holiding a Budhhist rosary and holding his robe in his left hand, the base unglazed, the artist’s mark stamped on the bottom. It’s in very good condition without any damage. It measures 28.7cm h. x 24.2cm w. x 18.5cm d. (11 3/8” h x 9 ½” w. x 7 ¼” d). | ||
