| A Very Fine Chinese Peach-Form Cinnebar Red Box and Cover-19th C.: China, Qing dynasty, 19th century. Its curving cover displaying a saga and a boy enjoy walking a deep landscape, and surround by a band of bats continuesly and full peach branches with peaches all in raised relief against densely diapered ground, the box deeply cut with flower heads and Buddha hands in Banyan tree braches, its flat base and the interior surface covered in black lacquer. It’s in very excerllentcondition but very minor red lacqer lossed (please see photos) Measurements: 6.5”x 5” or 16.5cm x 12.5cm expectively. | ||
