| A Korean Fine/Large Copper-Red Underglazed Peach-Shape Water Dropper: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century. A very finely modeled/carved as a large peach formed water dropper applied oveall blue tinged white glaze and thick underglaze copper-red, with an upright leave carved in relief to the body and incised with short lines to delineate veins with underglaze blue, the thick stems of the peach also molded in relief to the body and arranged in a rough round stem to serve as the base support, one floral spot in underglaze copper-red on the body, foot rim and base unglazed. The foor rim cracks and glaze mass caused by insufficient firing around foot rim and lower body, otherwise very fine condition without any chips or repairs.
