| A Pair of Very Fine and Rare Korean Embroidered Pillow Ends-19th C. : Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century The pair of embroidered pillow ends are very rare with a “Happyness” in center, surrounded by four colorful bats, Ruyi pattern in a yellow ring on black background, on the back attached with a thin whie paper. It’s very fine condition without any stainls or fade, It measures 22cm d. (8 5/8”d.). ***Provenance: Collection of Arthur Hyde Lay (1864-1934), Consul General in Korea, late 19th centry, thence by descent. | ||
