This is a kaji-banten ( fireman's coat ) made of thick cotton cloth. It has two kinds of cotton cloth sewn together inside, one has katazome ( stencil-dyeing ) asa-no-ha ( hemp leaf ) pattern and the other has tsutsugaki cloud pattern. It is in excellent condition except for some wear in the hem and wrist areas. Late 19th to earl 20th century. 124cm x 116cm

This is a furoshiki ( wrapping cloth ) made of hand-spun cotton with katazome ( stencil-dyeing ) stripe pattern. It is not strong enough for remaking. It has stains and faded parts in two panels of the right side, but another two are rather in good condition except for a rip in the side hem. The latter half of the 19th century. 132cm x 141cm

This is a sodenashi ( sleeveless ) han-juban ( under kimono ) made of hand-spun cotton with katazome ( stencil-dyeing ) and dyed with natural indigo. The jishiro ( white ground ) katazome is left fewer than indigo ground one. The latter half of the 19th century. In good condition except for two small holes in front ( 2cm x 2cm, 8mm x 8mm ), one in the back ( 1cm x 1cm ) and two minor cuts. 40.5cm x 54cm

This is a book of the woodblock prints by Rinpa school painters such as Furuya Korin ( 1875~1910 ), Kamisaka Sekka ( 1806~1942 ), Nakamura Hochu ( ~1819 ) and Taniguchi Kokyo ( 1864~1918 ) published by Unsodo in 2005. This book is consist of the selected works of their original woodblock print books published during Meiji period ( 1868~1912 ). It has 85 pages with more than 120 prints in full color. Written in Japanese only. Brand new. 24cm x 24cm
