This is a waterproof hood ( zukin ) for a man. It is made of asa which is dyed with kaki-shibu ( persimmon tannin ) and the lining is cotton which is dyed with indigo.

This is an fine asa ( jofu ) kasuri futon cover made of hand woven fine asa ( ramie ) cloth. It is warp and weft kasuri and is white ground kasuri which is fewer than blue ground one. It has many small holes and mending patches. Meiji era ( 1868~1912 ). 144cm x 185cm 57inch x 73inch
This is a large size furoshiki ( wrapping cloth ) with sashiko ( stitches ) which are traditional patterns, such as asanoha ( hemp leaves ), sayagata and fan.
