| This is a sakiori coat woven of strips for wefts which were torn from old cloth such as kimono, futon cover , furoshiki and so on. Most of the wefts are asa ( hemp ) and others are cotton and silk. Some of the silk wefts are lost because of moth bites. Warps are indigo dyed asa threads. In good condition except for some silk wefts are lost as mentioned above. 130cm x 110cm Late 19th to mid 20th century. | |||||||||||||||
