| This is a large bamboo basket made by Chikuyosai ( Morita ) whose birth date is unknown, but born in Kyoto and actively made bamboo baskets between Taisho and Showa period ( ca. 1920s to 1940s ). It is freely and boldly woven with wide bamboo strips. In good condition except for a few cuts and rifts ( not serious for use ).
