| Genuine museum piece! This is a beautiful large furoshiki ( wrapping cloth ) made of hand-woven cotton cloth and dyed with natural indigo. It has lively three turnip design which were hand-drawn with tsutsugaki technique. Tsutsugaki is free hand-painting using rice paste as resist and dyed in natural indigo bath. It has an owner's name written in the piece of cloth in the back corner who runs sake brewery in Niigata prefecture. In excellent condition and has nice thick texture.
