A writing box veneered in wonderful Fruitwood and adorned with brass. It opens up to reveal a writing surface in which it is embellished in an elegant gilt design and hidden compartments to store writing implements of sorts. The top opens up to uncover a large place to put things and the bottom does likewise (as photographed). The writing box has working lock mechanisms with key. Overall, the box is in good condition. This is a marvelous grape sterling handle shears. The handles encompass a grape vine decoration. The shears are in good condition-normal wear. It is hallmarked but the hallmark is hard to decipher. It could be from the company Continental. One thing is for sure, the company is not American. The circa date is turn of the century. The shears measure 3” wide at the handles and 6.5” long. The total weight is 4 oz.

This intriguing alarm clock figure embodies a gilt eagle rooting on a mass of rocks with a clock resting on its back. It is in fairly good condition. The circa date is the early 1900’s. The alarm clock is signed on the back by “Rullony”. It is inscribed with some numbers “D060” and there are some numbers and letters written on the bottom “D022” (as photographed). The clock measures 7.75” high and the base is 3.5” in diameter. It weights 2.25 lbs.

This wonderful table model music box was made by the Swiss company, Paillard, in 1879. It is made of European hardwood, and laminated with inlaid linear designs, and an elaborately inlaid lid of a music and floral theme. It has brass handles on the box, and original wood casters on the table. The table has a storage drawer for 5 of the 6 cylinders.

This is a sterling three piece carving set with a small floral design on handles, circa 1920. The knife and sharpener have dents on the bottom of the handles. The knife has dents in the middle of the handle, and all three pieces have small dents accordant with age. The knife is 14 1/2 inches long and 1 5/8 inches wide. The tong is 10 3/4 inches long and 1 5/8 inches wide. The knife sharpener is 13 inches long and 1 5/8 inches diameter.
