A beautiful early Republic Chinese vase, painted in the soft pastel colors that exhibit some of the finest Qianjiang literati painting of the time. Two fish indicates the wish for marital fidelity along with two bats that becomes a wish for good fortune and success. Beautifully painted flowers on an elegantly shaped vase C. 1915, makes this a good catch as it is without any damage. 8.5 inches high
