This spectacular statement of the early Rococo Period in France, is truly a "one of a kind" object d'art. The thin, delicate, asymmetrical carving surrounding the painting and the mirror is exceptional. The painting, a "fete galante" is similar to those painted by the followers of Jean Watteau.
