During 1986 Elizabeth studied at the Post Graduate Painting Studio, Royal College of Art, London, England. Patrick William Adam (1854-1929) RSA, studied under George Paul Chalmers and William MacTaggart. He was a prominent member of the Society of Eight in Edinburgh. He is best known for his impressionist genre painting of interior scenes. This oil on canvas is 27" X 16" and titled 'Ardilea, North Berwick' on the reverse. LANCELOT NEY born 1900 in Budapest Hungary,died Paris France 1965.He attended the Art Academy in Budapest & in 1922 went on trips to Germany where he met with KURT SCHWITTERS & MOHOLY-NAGY.
