The Royal Doulton Under the Greenwood Tree Series was in production from 1914 to 1967. There are 17 different scenes, this LENNOX FLOWER BOWL or Jardiniere showing both scene 1: Robin Hood, the friend of the poor, and scene 3: The Jovial Friar joins Robin Hood. This lovely piece is 7" high and 8" in diameter and in excellent condition. Series D6094 (1939 - 1951).

Crown Devon bowl in the rare and lovely Fairy Castle pattern (2405). 8 3/4" in diameter and 3 1/2" high. The bowl does have a couple of minor flaws which do not greatly detract - a scratched area of about 2" on the outer section mostly on the blue, and some staining from use inside at the centre - mostly on the blue but some discolouration on the castle section. Still in LOVELY condition with no chips, cracks, repairs. The bowl is possibly not Mattajade, as it has a glossy glaze. ...click for details
