| This comical series signed by Bruce Bairnsfather was made as "A Souvenir of the Great War" by Grimwades (early Royal Winton). 'COMMENCED AUG 4th 1914, ARMISTICE NOV 11th 1918 PEACE SIGNED JUNE 28th 1919.' Grimwades Stoke on Trent Globe mark and Image of Old Bill on rear with facsimile signature and painted 4281. This 10" rack plate features the scene WHERE DID THAT ONE GO TO? and is signed near the caption: BB Belgium 1915. Rare Border of Grenades, Tin hat, Plum & Apple etc. Heavy crazing throughout with dull ping but no discernible hairlines or cracks. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. | |
