'Gorinto' - Stone Buddhist Five-Tiered Stupa classified as 'Isseki-Gorinto' (as sculpted from a single stone), dates back to Edo period, circa 18-19th century. Fine antique condition with expected flaws, and fortunately remained the original mold of 'Hoju' (whishing stone / uppermost spherical part of a pagoda finial). approx. 30cm in height, 9.5cm in width (11.8in / 3.7in) |
