Assortment of labels on the back, reading Thomas A/EY & Sons, Dealers in works of Fine Art, London: J.G.Walther (18th c. German organist) (both on reverse of frame), "Over 35 years with the late Messrs. Grundy & Smiths (Art Dealers), 4 Exchange Street, Manchester (operating in the 19th c.), and Henry A. Rawlin Expert picture restorer and liner. Painting possibly relined, only one tiny point of restoration visible under blacklight. 19 1/8" h. x 25 1/4" w. (framed), 14 3/8" h. x 21" w. (sight). | ||
