Aluminum bolsters compliment horn and acrylic or plexiglass scales, under which appear pieces of printed Indian advertisements. Just as we exoticize arabic scripts, the Afghani find interest in latin scripts. Leather covered wood sheath with colorful synthetic decorations. I'd date this piece to the 1970's.
