This is a supreme uchikake from Meiji period(1868-1912). It has incredibly fine pattern, which is elaborately embroidered all over it. Carp climbing the waterfall and flowers are embroidered dramatically.
Textile is rinzu silk, and has soft touch.
It has some small holes and stains. Embroidery stitches are coming off in a few parts and an eye of a carp has crack. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
We highly recommend this magnificent antique uchikake!
