This simply elegant natu (summer) tea bowl was brought back from our visit in the Nagoya area, Japan. The tea bowl possesses a classic Shino glaze appearance, somewhat feminine and milky. One side of the bowl depicts with a grass motif, while the other side is a somewhat abstract design. The kodai (foot/bottom) shows the well used evidence over the time. Ca. late 1800s. Dimensions: 4.5" diameter 2" tall
