Set of Six Japanese Imari Rice Bowls with lids
Sold. Thank you.

A set of six Japanese Imari rice bowls depicts precisely hand-painted floral and other auspicious motifs. The blue and white pattern is also effectively placed at the very bottom of the bowl. The interior of the bowl has a ‘mikomi’ pattern at the bottom with birds and pine-like design, along with a fine geometric pattern on the rim. The six matched lids show continuing designs from the bowl. The set is made from fine porcelain and they are from the end of 1800s (the Meiji era). The condition of the set is great, no chips or cracks. This set of bowls will surely make a fine entertainment. Dimensions: approximately 4 ¼” diameter 3 ¼” high (including the lid)
