PRE-COLUMBIAN Chamanic Type.STAFF-HEAD. Double/sided. FROM COLOMBIA Tumbaga.Muisca Culture. Hollow staff-head, cast with nucleon, depicting an almost-human figure on both front and rear. The semi-eliptical face is demarcated by a strong ridge. A short wide nose runs down the center of the face, the eyes and mouth are coffee bean shaped the ears sit high on either side of the head. the arms are heavily moulded against the chest. 3-1/2" X 2-3/8"
