Fragment of a large Mayn Vessel, originally supported on tripod legs and painted with the lost wax method in shades of ocher and yellow on a cream background. The specialized technique of stucco painting o ceramics was mastered by the Mayan. Tripod vessels are associated with elite members of society. 2-7/8" x 4-7/8"
