A very rare and important sample of Yuan blue and white large jar with cover, rounded side with globular body and small mouth, base is unglazed. the jar is decorated with very bright under glaze Persian blue of watery Horse and fine flower scroll motif. jar is found from excavation site in Trowulan east java.Size: Similar jar in complete condition has been sold in Sothebys Hongkong auction house for over HK$ 22.725.000 in 2007. |
