A very rare Yuan blue and white large dish, rounded side with deep center and unglazed base, dish decorated with fine persian blue of mandarin ducks, fish, heron / bird, shrimp in the lotus pond motif, inner wall with fine flower scroll motif, exterior also with fine flower scroll motif. Dish has been broken into few large pieces, small part at the rim has been lost, fine exsample of rare motif yuan dish. Size: 30 cm diameter. |
