A rare and large blue and white porcelain jar, decorated with birds and flowers. China, Wanli (1573-1620). Height 21,5 cm. Condition: excellent, only some wear and fritting to the glaze on the mouth rim. On the bottom there is a scratch or glaze crack. This is not a crack in the body.

An interesting and fine Chinese scroll box, made of wood and woven rattan. The rattan has decorations in black of characters, geometric patterns, an ox and a scholar sitting at a table. This piece dates from the 2nd half of the 19th to the early 20th century.
