World antique textiles
From the Far East, we have Miao ceremonial cloths and bedsheets, a Miao ceremonial Chiefs Robe, many Miao baby carriers, several Chinese export embroideries, an embroidered Fukasa, a serving tray embroidery, a Kesi hanging, and an embroidered screen. Our central Asian antique textile stock includes several Samarkand Bolinpush suzani, a Tashkent Suzani, a colorful jajim, an Uzbekistan Silk Ikat Quilted bedspread, several Rescht Tent Embroideries and kalamkari, as well as a Persian brocade panel. From India and southeast Asia are listed a Paisley shawl, a painted hanging, a wedding shawl, and a plangi breast wrapper. The old Ottoman Empire centered in Turkey provides us with Ottoman Embroideries in the form of a tablecloth, cover, sash, and vest front. From the high Andes of South America are listed Aymara iscayu tari, llacota, awayu, Banded wallas, and a Calamarca ponchito.
