England Last qaurter 19th century (1875-1900) A many-hued silk embroidery on a light sky blue cotton backround. Most of the embroidery is straight stitching, while the bull-rushes are of an unusual raised dimensional style. Very good condition in the main, with light stains over many parts. The edges that were once folded and backed in a frame are are slightly tatered. 23" x 33"
