This beautiful French applique coverlet is of yellow slubbed silk applied with beautiful ribbon woven in graduated shades of blue, worked with ribbon flowers with pink and yellow floss silk centres, with an overall scrolling design and floral bouquet centre. Overall good unfaded condition, some repairable splitting, one or two areas of old 'invisible' darning, some minor water marks to bottom edge.
