| France Circa 1906 Description A cotton textile sample fabric that is an original roller printed cotton from France produced in 1906. The fabric big poppies in shades of pink, white, blue, mauve, yellow and green on a blue background . Was purchased at auction in Paris and came from the famous Scheurer company who were one of Europe's great textile printers based in Mulhouse in Alsace, France. The colours of this fabric are as vibrant as the day it was created in 1906 due to the fact that it has been kept in a sample book away from light one hundred years. Excellent condition: when taken from the sample book, several holes remain where the binding staples were; selvedged on two sides. 33" x 18" | ||
