We've handled quite a few unrai--blue-gold pieces by Morino Taimei(b.1934) in the past, yet this is the first in a tsubo-jar form. The bulbous 'canvas' form perfectly suits the meandering gold patterns and the dark blue glaze is quite divine. More about this important Kyoto artist in our archives. In perfect condition with a signed box, 25cm.tallx24.5, signed on base.
