Here is a Ban-'Ceramic Board' by celebrated ceramic artist Yoshikawa Masamichi; please see our archives for bio information. This ban dates back a few years and has a calligraphic feel with the sweeping gosu-blue circles inside of which red shinsha spots are also seen. It stands on four raised 'feet' seen on the base along with twelve roundels for kiln placement. A rare piece in perfect condition with a signed box, 3.5cm.tallx35, signed on base.
