Here is a rare 1966 set of five Bizen guinomi made in Mori Togaku's anagama he first made in Bizen proper. It seems this set was a special order and Mori selected the best five yohen from that 1966 firing and placed them in a signed box for the patron. However, they were simply stored away and never used; recently the patron's relative decided to let them go and they found their way to our gallery. Each has a very rich-rich firing and a tall cylindrical from, strong kodai-foot and excellent' clay flavor' and will deepen in patina with use. We'll offer them as a set for the time being, each in perfect condition and between 7-7.4cm.tall, signed on base.
