Fallen from the tree of life, this Bizen leaf platter by Harada Shuroku has a vibrant energy that comes from nature herself. I've heard many a potter--and collector--here say that Harada makes the best and most natural leaf platters of any ceramic artist in Japan today; more about this important Bizen artist in our archives or at e-yakimono.net Harada intentionally placed a smaller leaf plate on top of the larger one and during firing they fused together. A sculpture as is or for the table, in perfect condition with a signed box, 10cm.tallx38.5x24, signed on base.
