| Continuing on with our unexpected Mashiko Week of sorts, here is a shibui guinomi sake cup by Hamada Shoji; the form is pure Hamada and the firing is a mix of salt glaze and ash glaze. Very graceful, in perfect condition with a signed box by Shinsaku, 5.5cm.tallx7.5. A similar piece was shown at a major national exhibition, photo attached. | ||||||||||
