| This massive 'Matterhorn' Hagi 'vase' was shown in a major Tokyo exhibition of eighth-generation Hagi ceramic artist Kaneta Masanao(b.1953). It has a taunt muscle underlying strength rippling under the white creamy Hagi glaze; some areas have slight shades of lavender.
